Ok, so here it is. The magic. The best texture product I have ever used.

I use it on paper, canvas, claybord and wood substrates. It is easy to apply with a palette knife. You can paint it, stain it, glaze it, carve it. You can even paint into it while it's still wet. You can do encaustic on top of it after it has dried. This one texture product fulfills a multitude of needs. It rocks.

Seriously, Stencil Girl would know, she has bought them all.....ahem....You're gonna want to order two, wink, wink. $12 for the Wood Icing and shipping is $12 (in USA) cause it's heavy, so you may want to order two or three; you can order up to SIX and the flat rate shipping will still be just $12 (in USA). Just sayin'....

We are so sorry, we cannot ship Wood Icing outside of the USA due to the weight issue.

Wood Icing! What a find! December 1, 2013
Reviewer: Shirley A Bartell from Surprise, AZ United States
I just got my first order of Wood Icing and have started my usual testing process.  The medium is light tan, and dries to a slightly lighter color.  It is thinner than most of the molding pastes that I've used, very much like cake frosting, with a bit more body.  The medium dries more quickly than the molding pastes that I've used.  I've used it with Stencil Girl stencils, with stencils cut from transparency film, from packaging plastic and from Ranger Grunge Paper.  The medium works well with all of these.  The deeper the stencil medium, the heavier the application will be.  I've stamped into it but didn't like the look.  I stamped off the material that collected on the stamp from that process and am satisfied with the result.  The finish is hard enough to sand.  I've done enough samples now and can start testing paint samples.  I'll keep you posted as to how that goes.
