The Four Square Quilt Small stencil by Mary Beth Shaw was designed to have a hand-drawn look. It works well on paper, fabric, or with encaustic wax. It also makes a fabulous embroidery pattern - stencil it on your fabric with fabric paint or permanent ink and then stitch away! Of course, it also makes a beautiful repeating background for art journaling and mixed media, and is a wonderful pattern for creating texture as well.
