Description   The Petals and Ripples stencil by Trish McKinney was inspired by nature in all it’s glory – in particular the ripples and waves of flower petals. These abstracted curves influence Trish's paintings and create what she calls “layers of understanding and patterns of meaning” that can be built up through stencils. Trish likes to use this stencil whenever she wants to create an abstracted, organic feeling in her paintings and journals. Some Disassembly Required - the Masks are attached to the surround with tabs (small uncut sections of plastic). The tabs are easily cut with a thin blade or sewing scissors. We also suggest good lighting and reading glasses to assist with the process.
