Petite Bloom was designed by Rae Missigman as part of her Petite Botanicals Collection.

Rae says: "The French Rose is said to be one of the oldest plants cultivated in the world. I was greatly inspired to create a single bloom as a reminder of the many market offerings. From Hybrid Tea Roses to richly layered Garden Roses to the heavily branched Spray Roses, my senses are forever imprinted with their beauty. With so many creative choices for these stencils-traditional paint, reactive watercolors, or dimensional mediums-the result will be countless variations of delightful floral arrangements.

"This 'petite' collection was inspired by the slow mornings I spent wandering through the antique and flower markets of France. The collection captures a bit of the charm that surrounded me in these markets. I was in awe of the hundreds upon hundreds of gathered stems, intricate blooms, and delicate wildflowers tucked into paper-wrapped bouquets. Each stencil was designed to feel like a small botanical fragment discovered among the weathered linens, vintage papers, and baskets overflowing with garden treasures. The objects I collected alongside of the art I created while visiting France felt suited to a small collection of floral marks. I envision these stencils and masks bringing softness, layering, and a touch of old-world romance to my creative work."
