Traci Bautista is a mixed media artist, designer and author. In 2001, she left a successful career in the Silicon Valley to pursue her passion for art and launch treiC designs LLC. With over twenty years experience in design and marketing combined with fifteen years of teaching art and publishing, she strives to inspire people worldwide with my artwork and creative products.
She is the creator of art.journal.PLAY mixed media lab and CREATIVE SOUL visionary program, where she mentors artists, designers and other creatives to unleash their creative spirit. Through her guidance during interactive online learning programs, courses and live events, she helps them build creative confidence and define their unique artistic style while they transition to become creative entrepreneurs.
Her artwork has led her on a worldwide tour speaking and teaching mixed media and creative workshops. She has guided tens of thousands of artists to PLAY and paint intuitively. In her classes, she shares her organic creative process and outside of the box thinking. She encourages students to “see things differently,” to let go and trust themselves as they face the blank canvas.
Traci is the author of three bestselling mixed media books, Collage Unleashed, Doodles Unleashed,and Printmaking Unleashed. Her art has been featured in over 25 art / mixed media books and 50+ craft magazines, including Somerset Studio, Altered Couture, cloth.paper.scissors, Art Journaling, Art Quilting Studio, Belle Armoire, Where Women Create and Craft.
She has partnered and worked as a consultant with many brands including iLove To Create, Strathmore Artist Papers, Sakura of America, to name a few, and is a Golden Artist Colors Artist Educator. She is designer behind a number of successful licensed product lines including Aleene’s Collage Pauge adhesive, StenciGirl stencils, Stampington rubber stamps, stationery and paper crafts products.
