Seth Apter designed Off The Grid as part of his Elements series. Each stencil contains elements that are perfect to be layered in mixed media art and can all be used in their entirety or broken up. While they could work as abstract focal points, Seth intended for these to be supporting layers to enable you to add details to your work and make it all your own.
Off the Grid is very versatile and lends itself perfectly to add detail to a background layer. Depending upon which sections you use, you will get a wide grid of wonky squares, or a series of random splatters, or both! No matter the size of your artwork, you can fit this stencil by using only a few of the segments or repeatedly layering this stencil side by side.
