Lorem Ipsum Cutouts was designed by Nicole Watson.
Nicole’s mixed media layers often include typography or handwriting. Having a background in journalism, she’s always wanted a stencil with the Lorem Ipsum fill-in text to use in her artwork. So, after creating the first, smaller version, she knew there needed to be a large version, too!

The whimsical nature of these letters creates perfect spray-painted backgrounds, sponged through textures or gel prints. Add them to the background or as a focal point to create a little whimsy or mystery to your artwork.

Amazingly, these letters were originally cut by hand from felt before converting into a font by Pirated Material called Typephase. The original letters are part of a university project called Phelt where people order puppets and in turn one is donated to a dementia patient.
